Rage Can Be Controlled

Rage causes us to “see red.” It blocks our ability to fully grasp the severity of the situation at hand. It’s in this state we misunderstand & misread many circumstances that caused the situations.

We are choosing to ignore the facts because we are focused on our feelings of anger & discontent.

Reacting in a rageful state causes dangerous actions with harmful repercussions. Our lack of ability to reason with ourselves can cause us to do something we can’t take back.

Rage is an emotion. Emotions can be controlled. While anger is a healthy emotion. Rage is a destructive level of anger that isn’t healthy for yourself or anyone else.

If you feel yourself becoming enraged over a situation, breathe. Remove yourself from the room. Breathe. Take stock in the facts only. Breathe. Allow yourself to be angry if it’s warranted & accept the facts. Then and only then will you be able to channel your anger appropriately.
